Liechtenstein Fred Kindle is Vice President of Zurich - Switzerland Graubunden East

Tom de Swaan, former vice president of insurer Zurich Insurance Group, has been appointed by the Board as the new President. Vice President is the Liechtenstein Fred Kindle as Zurich announced on Wednesday evening.

Vaduz. – Tom De Swaan succeeds Josef Ackermann, who left the group in August after the suicide of the chief financial officer Pierre Wauthier abruptly (“suedostschweiz.ch» reported). De Swaan had held the post of interim basis.

The new Vice President Fred Kindle (54) is a citizen of the Principality of Liechtenstein. He began his career at Hilti AG and led him via McKinsey & Company, Sulzer, ABB and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLP. Kindle is since April 2006 Member of the Board of Directors of Zurich Insurance Group AG and “Zurich” Insurance Company.

Ackermann left in the ground to announce his retirement, that the family of the deceased mean, he should bear part of the responsibility, “no matter how unfounded it may be considered objectively.” Wauthier had left a suicide note, in where it also went to his strained relationship with Ackermann.
