Two interpretations of Android

The operating system of the tablet shows once again, how can Android be different. On the one hand, the naked and updates from Google directly supplied with Vanilla Android, on the other hand, the Amazon extensively and completely rebuilt system. Here is something to see themselves hardly of Android, but it serves as a base. The surface of the Kindle Fire 7 HDX is designed primarily for media consumption, of course, from the Amazon offer. Amazon also offers apps in the AppStore own. This of course is all a bit of taste, because of the greater flexibility and good and fast supply of Android updates has us here for the Google Nexus 7 2013 but a real advantage.

Snapdragon S4 800 beats per

While not distinguish the displays of the two tablets, the differences in the processor are certainly present. Amazon relies on the lightning fast Snapdragon 800 at 2.2 GHz, while Google only Snapdragon S4 Pro installed with 1.5 GHz. In order for the Kindle Fire 7 HDX motorized stronger. Whether it can play out in practice the advantage, however, is questionable. The Snapdragon S4 Pro has finally also to provide a lot of power, also likely the slim, naked Android fewer resources than the Amazon version of the system. Nevertheless, there is here along with the greater maximum storage space – slots for microSD cards have both not – an advantage for Amazon Kindle Fire 7 HDX

two tablets, customers have the choice between pure wireless variants or models with cellular modem. Both the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and the Google Nexus 7 2 help fast wireless standard LTE, the Kindle tablet but exclusively on the Vodafone network, while offering the Nexus 7 all five current standard LTE frequencies. LTE is still not very widespread, but the flexibility speaks for the Google tablet.

Savings Amazon has 7 at the cameras of the Kindle Fire HDX Is found at the back of the tablet at all no lens, the front notches takes pictures with 1.2 megapixels and video in 720p. This can include the front camera of the Nexus 7 2 also, but the Asus has produced Google’s tablet addition, a main camera with 5 megapixels on the back. Point for the Nexus 7, 2013.

Conclusion: Much speaks for the Nexus 7

At the end

speaks in our view much for the Google Nexus 7 in the second generation. Google’s tablet operating system has to offer Vanilla Android as the open great advantage is also lighter and has better cameras. On paper, the Google Nexus 7 Although the weaker processor compared to the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX, in everyday life the power of Google’s tablet already enough but more than made up. The Kindle Fire HDX only really has to offer as an advantage to larger maximum memory. Therefore, with the same pricing we generally prefer the more open and more universal Google Nexus 7 When the heart, however, depends on the Amazon ecosystem and the highly customized operating system does not scare the Kindle Fire HDX also not a bad choice.
