Style: Attention, confusion
Who wants to order the new Kindle on Amazon Paperwhite, must look closely: The newbie and the previous model differ neither in design nor in the price, one wrong click and you have bought the old hardware. Size (169 mm x 117 mm x 9.1 mm) is the same, not to feel the weight loss of seven grams. The only difference is the back: There is now no longer the Kindle logo to see, but the Amazon. Still a lack of a headphone jack or an SD slot.

Completely screwed down the backlight (a complete turn is not possible for two generations) is practically no difference between the devices. When laid side by side, as you did with The eBook reader, the second White Paper is a little white, but the real difference between Pearl and Carta reveals itself only when the light goes on.
The Carta-screen reached a significantly higher level of brightness and thus a better reading experience, even in very bright environments. Finally, using “Light Boost” with a tap switch to the highest level of illumination.
The eBook reader noticed that the problem of “ghosting” when the text of the following page on the current light shines through, the new Kindle Paperwhite is worse than, say, the Kobo aura. software: Two new features
The software has remained the same, but comes up with two new features:
