New Kindle Paperwhite with 300 ppi display is in the 2nd Quarter to come in 2014 - software and lots of tips & tricks

The current Kindle Paperwhite is still one of the best ebook reader on the market, even if it is with its 212 ppi display behind the competition. The Kobo Aura HD offers here 265 ppi and is therefore in the presentation of course better than Amazon’s product. This is already in the second Quarter change in 2014. Then, Amazon wants to be with a 300 ppi display again right at the forefront.

TechCrunch has already seen a prototype of the device and reported that the front is completely flat and is made of frosted glass. Nevertheless, the device should be lighter than its predecessor. In order to provide an even better reading experience, is also a new font to be used.

A light sensor to adjust the brightness of the surroundings, while the buttons are supposed to be better integrated flip. The back of the new Kindle Paperwhite should be based on that of the Kindle Fire HDX. The software shall remain the same on the whole, though adapted to the higher resolution display.

concerns should be that the information relate in part to prototype hardware, it might be so still something to change the device then appears.
