years of rumors about a Kindle smartphone could come to an end in less than two weeks because the online retailer giant Amazon invites on 18 June at a launch event in his hometown of Seattle. There is a new device are presented and as a teaser video suggests, it will be well-equipped with a 3D screen.

On June 18, Amazon will introduce a new device. Not excluded is that it is a new generation of Kindle tablets, more likely, however, that the Internet giant will finally show after years of speculation, its first smartphone. At least a little taste of how the phone will look like, Amazon gives us about an appended to the announcement on Twitter image. Through the head and body movements of the people it is indicated that the phone might actually have the assumed 3D screen. The 3D effect will be there to see, according to earlier reports, even without the use of spectacles, which is apparently made possible by four placed on the front of infrared cameras. They measure the position and orientation of the face and adjust the presentation accordingly to the visual angle.
In the presented in less than two weeks device it could be a first of two planned smartphone from Amazon. While the suspected high-end device should be equipped with a 4.7-inch display with 720p, a still unknown Qualcomm processor, 2 GB RAM and a 13 megapixel camera, the specs of another low-budget smartphones are still unknown. How the Kindle tablets released so far is probably the Android modification Fire OS to be installed on the smartphone – access to Google Play Store is not possible with it.
